Hoffman Clark & Associates is a social science research and evaluation firm specializing in public health, prevention and K12 education evaluation.

In conjunction with the University of California, Hoffman Clark hosted a World Cafe with San Diego Regional GEAR UP grantees on the potential of Gear Up to impact student success to prepare for their future. After School for Elementary & Middle
Making a difference in youth, families, schools and communities with after school programs by assisting after school programs in the collection and analysis of mandated data indicators.

Youth Risk Prevention Projects
Focusing on youth risk prevention for alcohol use, tobacco use, teenage pregnancy and violence.

 

GEAR UP

GEAR UP is a college preparatory program targeting middle school and high school youth. Hoffman Clark is working with UCSD to evaluate strategies aimed at increasing the percentage of youth who want to go to college.

21 Century ASSETs High School

High School After School has exploded onto the California landscape. We are working with sites to involve youth in program planning and evaluation in dynamic and new ways.

Youth Mentoring

We are providing innovative web based data collection systems to evaluate youth mentoring programs in rural isolated school districts.

 

Elementary School Science Program Evaluation

Hoffman Clark is evaluating an elementary science program developed within a cultural setting to enhance student understanding and performance in science.

Department of Defense (Military Families Partnerships for Education)

Our newest grant partner is the Department of Defense Educational Partners office who is providing new funding for students in Military families to help students in transition with both their social emotional and academic needs.
