HCA collaborated with a large school district tasked in a Department of Defense grant to show evidence of school health culture change. We used grant objectives and research validated survey items to create a customized rubric in which trained staff rated progress towards change. Not only was the evidence valid and positive, it helped include the school in the grant's objective and work toward's it's goal of a healthier school culture.
Quality improvement measurement can be challenging. HCA worked with a large after school grant to gather all quality improvement data, make it visible and thus actionable through Tableau. Their data was portrayed in a Data Story which was summarized in an interactive Quality Dashboard. Stakeholders could get the overview and drill down for more detail and change in each standard over time.
Community Engagement is an annual commitment for the Behavioral Health Services Department of San Diego County. HCA partnered to focus on creating a positive future thus uncovering innovative solutions to the most challenging social issues. Using World Cafe and Tablaeau data results were made visually engaging and transparent to the public for future use.
